About the Bulldog Pantry

The Bulldog Pantry is located at 2311 East Shaw at the corner of Shaw & Jackson Avenue. (Between Barton and Maple)

The Pantry was launched in November of 2007 by Lutheran Campus Ministry and a group of concerned students and staff from Fresno State. Hundreds of food insecure families benefit from the pantry. In addition to feeding the hungry, the pantry has the unique opportunity to serve as a place for students to have hands on experience with community engagement and to develop leadership skills.

There are many ways that you can help, including food collections, fund raising events, and monetary donations. Most of the food we give out is purchased from the Community Food Bank, and we spend $400-500 on a typical distribution.

The pantry relies 100% on the help of Fresno State volunteers and donors to keep our doors open. Typically $300 of food is purchased for each distribution from The Community Food Bank.
