New this year: donations of $5, 10 and 15 can also be made to go toward the purchase of a turkey.

Bulldog Pantry Opens Second Location
With the help and support of Fresno State’s Associated Students Inc. (ASI), and Revitalize Fresno, the Bulldog Pantry will open up a second location in El Dorado Park on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011. Students from the Interfaith Project have adopted Nov. 12, and Dec. 3 as distribution days at Wesley United Methodist for 2011.
Student groups that adopt a day will be asked to collect donations (monetary and food), assist with picking up the food at Fresno Community Food Bank, packing the food, and distribution of the food. Groups that raise $200 will receive matching funds, up to $200 from ASI to purchase food for this location.

Inaugural “Will Walk for Food” is a SUCCESS!
The inaugural “Will Walk for Food” fun run/walk that took place on Saturday, September 10, 2011, was a huge success! Over 85 participants participated in a 2 mile walk or 5 mile run at O’Neil Park on the Fresno State campus. They enjoyed entertainment by HR7, a delicious meal prepared by Fresno State’s very own Culinology Club, raffle prizes and more. The event raised approximately $3,500 which will be used to purchase food for the Bulldog Pantry! We can’t wait to plan the run/walk for next year.
Another BIG thank you to our event sponsors… (in alphabetical order) Eye-Q Vision Care, EECU, Fresno State Alumni Association, Kremen Alumni Association Board and Friends, Tacos Marquitos, and Wawona Frozen Foods.
